1. How A-Plus calculate how much the removal job will cost ?
We charge by hour (minimal 2 hours charge). When we give an estimate, we take in consideration how many men will be needed for the job and calculate how long it might take to complete the job.
2. When I start being charged?
The clock starts when we park in front of your place.
3. I live in congestion charge zone area, will the removal job cost me more ?
Costumer is responsible for congestion charge if location of collection or delivery is within congestion charge zone. However, we run offers from time to time, and customers can avoid paying congestion charge even though the job will require our van to go through/in congestion charge zone areas.
4.What other cost will I have with my house removal job ?
There is no extra charges in London area - No stairs charge / No fuel charge.
However, if you are located out of London, we will add Fuel charge of £1.20 per mile from pick up to delivery point.
5. What type of payments are acceptable ?
Payment with Cash, PayPal and debit cards are accepted. Payments with credit card will have a 3% fee.
6. I see here that A-Plus does collection and delivery for online shoppers. How does it work if I want to collect an item bought on Ebay or Gumtree?
Send us the information and we can collect and deliver the goods, If you still need to pay for the item before collection, please try to make a online payment to seller before placing collection.
Note: We are not responsible for the quality, description, size or any other criteria of the item purchased. Our job is to collect and deliver the item safe and sound.
7. Does A-Plus deliver boxes ?
Yes, when you book house removals service with us. We charge £20 - £30 for boxes and packing materials delivery.
8. I would like to book End of tenancy cleaning, how does it work ?
You can either book the service by email or over the phone.
9. I am a mature student, do I get 10% Off on my removal ?
Yes, when you book Crafter van and 1 man and job is completed on regular hours (Mon- Friday : 9am - 5pm).
Content: Bags, luggage, boxes, small electronics / appliances ( No furniture ).
10. Can I combine a website offer and still get 5% discount on Monday and Tuesdays ?
No, but we will give the customer the lowest price ( either the website offer or the 5% discount).
